Considering and Communicating Your End of Life Wishes

United Way #8365 | CFC #42512

If you have ever thought about doing an advance directive but it just hasn't happened yet, here is your chance to move forward and break through the resistance. In this session, M. Jane Markley, a nationally and internationally recognized expert in Advance Care Planning, will discuss the importance of end of life planning.  She will introduce attendees to some of the steps that can be taken to help accomplish this task including how to start and continue the conversation and why doing this is such a gift, and to whom. This session is open to the public and anybody is welcome.

People who attend will be able to:

  • Identify with whom they should have a conversation and how to make it happen
  • Articulate, with loved ones, their own particular desires for care
