Maryland Nonprofit Seal of Excellence: Hospice Caring, Inc. recognized for outstanding service to City of Gaithersburg residents
GreatNonprofits: GreatNonprofits rated Hospice Caring as a 2012 Top-Rated Children and Families Nonprofit.
Ruby Award- Soroptimist International of Upper Montgomery County Maryland: Penny Gladhill, Director of Bereavement Services and one of the founders of Hospice Caring, was honored in 2016 for her work to improve conditions for women and girls, as well as everyone in our county.
Volunteer Engagement Stars Report: Hospice Caring was recognized as part of the Volunteer Engagement Stars Report compiled by Volunteer Frontier and The Center for NonProfit Advancement including Hospice Caring as one of nine nonprofits profiled. The report released April 16, 2012 was sent to over 1,000 nonprofit executives. “We know many nonprofits in the Washington region are doing amazing work with volunteers,” said Center CEO Glen O’Gilvie. “Our hope is that the case studies from these organizations will inspire and challenge nonprofits to effectively engage and leverage volunteers, furthering the success of nonprofits throughout the region.”
