When a loved one dies, family and friends must
deal with a wide variety of emotions, including pain, fear and
grief. Although these feelings are natural responses to
death, they can be devastating and overwhelming.
Hospice Caring, Inc. offers
bereavement support groups for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved
one. These groups provide a place for the grieving that is
safe both physically and emotionally, where people can meet
other individuals who are going through a similar experience,
share their stories, learn from one another and receive much-needed support.
"The support
and affection of these two facilitators and the group members
has been a life line for me that I could have found nowhere else. We are like a family and it feels comforting and safe to be with
them." -- Support Group Member
Groups are provided at no charge. County residency is not required to
participate.
